For over twenty years, Will Swift, Ph.D., has written on American
leaders and British royalty of the nineteenth and twentieth
centuries for Majesty Magazine and other publications.
He has curated several major exhibitions
on royal history including one in New York City which celebrated
the Queen Mother's 100th birthday. His interest in British
monarchs from Victoria through Elizabeth II led him to found
the Royalty Bookshop in Manhattan, the Royal Commemorative
Association of North America, and Sceptre, a journal
on royal history and collecting.
Will Swift is currently researching a book on The Kennedys
in London, which details the climactic years of Joseph
Kennedy’s ambassadorship from 1938 to 1940.
Will Swift is also a practicing
clinical psychologist specializing in cognitive and marital
therapy. FDR once visited his home, the Nathan Wild House,
in Valatie, New York. He also lives in Manhattan.
